In celebration of Shakyamuni Buddha’s birthday, the Jade Buddha Temple will hold a Buddha Bathing Dharma Assembly in the Grand Hall on May 7^th, 2017 (Sunday) at 10:00 a.m. Ven. Jan Hai, President of the Texas Buddhist Association will deliver a speech titled “The Meaning of the Bathing of the Buddha,” followed by blessings led by Ven. Hung I, Vice President of the Texas Buddhist Association, for peace in the world, good weather for farming, prosperity for the country and peacefulness for the people, peace and harmony in the society, and ease and tranquility in both body and mind.
