Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston (IM), along with local faith and community leaders,  gathered  Wednesday Feb. 1, 2017 at IM’s Akbar Ali Jamal Great Hall for a refugee prayer vigil.

Houston has long been a city that has welcomed those seeking safe harbor from persecution and war’s violence. The candlelight prayer vigil was an important chance for our community to come together in peace and hope around the Strength of Shared Beliefs.
