March into Spring by Helping Your Neighbors

Winter Storm Recovery Food Drive

You can help combat food insecurity in Houston by supporting the March Into Spring By Helping Your Neighbors Food Drive. In response to the recent winter storm and the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are collecting much needed non-perishable food and dry pet food that will replenish the supplies at five local community food pantries currently serving hundreds of Houstonians on a weekly basis.

Volunteer Houston and Multi-Faith Council at Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston are hosting a contact-free, drive-through food drop-off and need help to fill the shelves. The community is invited to drop off items during this one-day event being held at Meals on Wheels of Greater Houston on Sunday, March 21, 2021, from 1 pm-4 pm!

For more information, contact Gayla Wilson at gayla@volunteerhouston.org.
