Volunteer Services & Volunteer Houston will conduct a community service project on Saturday, July 27^th from 9am – 11am at the Westin Galleria with 200 volunteers from Golden Key International Honour Society & American Pakistan Foundation.   Golden Key is the world’s largest collegiate honor society, is by invitation only and applies to the top 15% of college & university sophomores, juniors, seniors as well as graduate students.  The organization is focused on academics, leadership & service.  APF seeks to mobilize the collective knowledge, resources and influence of Pakistani Americans with the goal to foster stronger ties between the citizens of the U.S. and Pakistan.  They launched the Serve America campaign to encourage members of the Pakistani American community to give back to those in need by joining and organizing local volunteer projects.

The multiple service projects they will participate in will support the following VS/VH partners:

• Make greetings cards for Meals on Wheels clients
• Assemble toiletry kits for Open Gate Bering Ministry clients
• Repackage baby wipes for Santa Maria Hostel clients
