INTERFAITH MINISTRIES FAITH IN THE CITY SERIES ANNOUNCES VIRTUAL FALL LINEUP

HOUSTON (September 1, 2020) – Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston’s popular Faith in the City lunch and learn series, which explores different faith traditions, will resume this fall in a virtual setting. This monthly program was created to increase awareness of the rich variety of faith traditions in our city. Each month’s class highlights a different religion.

The Rev. Greg Han, Interfaith Ministries’ Director of Interfaith Relations and Educations, explains:
“Houston is the most diverse urban region in the country. As a result, we have a wealth of religious diversity. The way we worship, when we worship, and where we worship differs.”

The fall 2020 series begins on September 15 with an exploration of the Sikh religion. Subsequent classes include: Hinduism on October 13, Buddhism on November 10, and Judaism on December 10. All programs begin at 12:00 noon and will be held virtually.
