HOUSTON (July 11, 2019) – Brian Burton and Jerry Haus have joined the leadership team at  Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston (Interfaith Ministries).

Brian Burton has been named Director of Meals on Wheels Operations for Interfaith Ministries. Burton has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, transportation, and logistics management, as well as six years as a Transportation Specialist for the United States Army Reserves. His experience includes management and administration roles for Fresenius Medical Care, Davita Healthcare Partners and KCI USA, as well as a 10-year management career with FedEx. Burton holds a BA in Management Communications from Concordia University of Wisconsin, and an MBA in Business Management from University of Phoenix, Houston.

In his new role, Burton will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of Interfaith Ministries’ Meals on Wheels for Greater Houston and Galveston County, the largest Meals on Wheels program in the state of Texas. Interfaith Ministries delivers nutritious, fully prepared meals to more than 4,400 homebound seniors and disabled adults every weekday, totaling more than 1.5 million meals each year. The program serves seniors in Harris, Galveston, and surrounding counties.

Jerry Haus has been named Director of Development for Interfaith Ministries. Haus has more than 20 years of fundraising experience, specializing in major gifts. His most recent roles have included Director of Development for the School of Natural Sciences at Rice University, as well as Development Officer at the University of Minnesota.

Prior to his fundraising career Haus was a financial planner and investment advisor, so he brings valuable knowledge about planned giving methods. Haus earned his BA from the University of Minnesota and is a member of Charitable Gift Planners of Houston.
