World Refugee Day aims to raise awareness about the 21st century's refugee challenge. Around the world, people are forced to flee their homes for reasons that include war, political violence, exclusion and competition for scarce resources in troubled regions. This event is open to the community and will showcase various countries and cultures through music, art, dancing, children's activities and entertainment. Pet Food Needed!
aniMeals on Wheels needs your help! The program delivers food for pets of Meal son Wheels seniors and is experiencing a shortage in pet food. The program began because seniors receiving Meals on Wheels were sharing their limited resources and, in some cases, their much needed home-delivered meal with their pet. We provide this service because for some seniors their pet is their only companion. aniMeals on Wheels survives on donations and is delivered entirely by volunteers.
