Volunteer Appreciation 2007
Thank you to all the volunteers who attended our 2007 Volunteer Appreciation Event. We hope you had a wonderful time. As always, please remember; "You mean the world to someone. Someone you don't even know loves you for who you are and what you have done for them. Every night, someone thinks about you before they go to sleep. If not for you, someone may not be living. To the world you may be just one person, but to one person you may be the world." - Anonymous. View photos from the event here.

Meals on Wheels for Greater Houston, AniMeals on Wheels Program
Pets provide great companionship, especially for persons who are homebound and like their owners, the pet companions of our Meals on Wheels recipients are in need of ongoing nutrition assistance. In an effort to help seniors maintain their independence and assist them as they care for their best friend, Meals on Wheels for Greater Houston has launched a new program to provide donated pet food to the pets of Houston area Meals on Wheels recipients. Volunteers are needed to help us deliver pet food to homebound seniors once a month. Deliveries will take no longer that 1 1/2 - 2 hours. To find out more contact Tiffany Harris, IM Volunteer and Event Coordinator, at 713.533.4922 or tharris@imgh.org.

Want to Help? Sign up for a route, donate dog or cat food at the IM offices, 3217 Montrose @ Westheimer, or conduct a pet food drive in your community.
