Joined by US Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff and hosted by OFBCI Director Jay Hein. After the event, Secretary Chertoff listed the top challenges for integrating Faith-Based Groups.

Meals on Wheels is a 2008 recipient of the national Feinstein challenge.

Meals on Wheels for Greater Houston received $1.5 mil in grants.
