Supporters

With the help of the Houston Chronicle the March 4 Meals Campaign has begun. More than 1,000 seniors are on a waiting list to receive Meals on Wheels service and more than 50 seniors are added each month. Support Houston's Hungry Seniors through the March 4 Meals Awareness and Sponsorship Campaign by sponsoring one or more seniors.

Meals on Wheels Senior Sponsors

Individuals and Groups.
It cost less than $5.00 per day, $100 per month to provide nutrition to a senior in our area. You can help us reach our goal of 750 sponsorships by sponsoring a senior for a year, a month or more. This is a great way to engage the members of your civic and community groups to support the seniors in our area who need it so much. We are pleased to announce that the Houston Ladies Tennis Association has sponsored five seniors as part of this effort.

Congregations and Faith Groups.
We all believe that the most frail of the community should be cared for and given the opportunity to live with dignity. Houston area seniors face many challenges, most prevalent is their ability to nourish themselves and remain in their own homes. Congregations and Faith Groups across the city are being asked to sponsor one or more seniors for a year. Please join us in this holy cause to support our seniors.

Businesses and Corporations
To help jump start our efforts, Chevron Corporation has committed to sponsoring 75 seniors, 10% of our goal. We are excited that other businesses and corporations in the Houston area will follow Chevron's compassionate lead.
