What does the meal include?

Each meal includes: 3 oz. meat, chicken or fish, ½ cup vegetable, ½ cup fruit, bread, dessert, and milk.

When are meals delivered?

Meals are delivered between 10: 45 a.m. and 1: 30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding designated holidays.

How much does it cost?

You may donate whatever you feel is appropriate; you may request an envelope from the delivery-person.

Who delivers the meal?

A friendly IM volunteer or Meals on Wheels staff person will deliver your meal. Each person is identified by an IM Meals on Wheels badge.

Who makes Meals on Wheels possible?

Meals on Wheels is supported by Houston/Harris County Area Agency on Aging, United Way, area churches, businesses, individuals, social/civic organizations and participants' contributions. Volunteers donate their time and the use of their vehicles.
