On Saturday, February 26, 2022, from 11:30am to 1:30pm, charitable animal lovers are taking off to go “around the world” with Animeals for the 9th Annual Wags & Whiskers Brunch. Proceeds from the travel-themed fundraiser will benefit Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston’s Animeals program which provides free pet food and preventative vet care to seniors with pets in the Meals on Wheels program.
Brunch is being held at the Lone Star Flight Museum in honor of Ann Kaesermann. Enjoy “down home” Southern cuisine in an “around the world” setting!
This year’s brunch, chaired by Melinda Wineinger, features a pet fashion show and silent auction. Guests can sponsor tables dressed with themed décor from popular travel destinations from around the world, including Paris, Tulum, and Maui. Sponsorship levels include:
- Private Plane Sponsor: $25,000
- First Class Flight Sponsor: $15,000
- Business Class Flight Sponsor: $10,000
- Premium Class Flight Sponsor: $5,000
- Frequent Flyer Flight Sponsor: $2,500
- International Ticket: $1,000
- Premium Ticket: $500
- Traveler Ticket; $250

Animeals was started more than 10 years ago when Interfaith Ministries’ Meals on Wheels drivers discovered that seniors were sharing their food with their beloved pets. Today, Animeals provides free pet food, toys, and preventative vet care for more than 1,300 dogs and cats.
