Presented by Unity of Houston
Thursdays, January 26th – February 16th
10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

We need a vision of what we want. So what are the principles of justice we want to base our future on? We will look at major philosophical approaches and how they answer the question “What is the right thing to do?” including Utilitarianism, Libertarianism, and the famous work of John Rawls. Using lecture, reading, exercises and class discussion you will refine your own thoughts and feelings about the basis of a fair and just society.

We will work from the NY Times bestselling book, “Justice: What’s the Right Thing to Do?” by Harvard political philosopher, Michael J. Sandel.

Facilitator is Cindy Wigglesworth. Suggested donation is $10-$20. Event will be held in Wallet Hall at Unity Church of Houston located at 2929 Unity Dr., Houston, TX 77057. See website for more information.
