Join the Islamic Society of Greater Houston’s (ISGH) Interfaith Team for a meal that transcends any generational, ethnic or religious differences. Iftar or “breaking the fast” is an important holy act for Muslims during the sacred month of Ramadan. Listen to people of diverse faiths speak on their unique spiritual experience, engage in meaningful conversations, and celebrate our united interfaith community with a festive meal.

This event is open to guests of other faiths and designed to give a glimpse into Islam, Ramadan, and the practice of fasting. We hope to transform our community through the power of relationships and shared experiences.

Attendees will have the opportunity for friendly discussion over dinner. The Ramadan Iftar/Dinner will be held on Friday, June 9th beginning at 7:30 PM at Tempura Restaurant. Dress code is dressy.
