You can participate as an individual, with your family and friends, or as part of a larger group that you facilitate/lead. We welcome all help!

The more, the merrier! We will schedule delivery routes by car. Each car will be assigned a route (about 15 deliveries). How many people you bring with you is up to you!

The driver of the delivery vehicle must be 18 years of age or older, but we encourage little ones to join us in service along with their families. There are several components to carry to each home, so there is even something for the littlest hands to help carry and be part of the process!

The Volunteer Services staff will be happy to sign off on service hours for anyone needing documentation of their service. Just email llewis@imgh.org following Event Day to request such.

The largest group of volunteers will be our Operation IMpact Meal Delivery Drivers. We will also utilize a small group of volunteers at each pick-up site to assist with distribution of these meals into vehicles.

Based on your selected Zone, you will receive information from us about your pick-up site, including information about arrival time, parking, etc.

Pick-up times will be scheduled in the morning on Event Day (Saturday, May 2nd). You will be provided a specific pick-up time as the event date nears.

Our volunteer registration for Operation IMpact will close on April 20, 2020.

A vehicle with as much open space as possible in the trunk. Our shelf-stable meal boxes are the size of a large shoebox and the supply bags are the size of a standard reusable grocery bag and are half-full (can be partially collapsed and stacked on top of one another easily). You will be delivering to approximately 15 homes, which may have you transporting as many as 20-25 of each of these items (some households have more than one MOW recipient).

Based on your selected Zone, you will receive information from us about your pick-up site, including information about arrival time, parking, etc.

Of course! The driver of the vehicle must be 18 years of age or older, but we encourage little ones to join us in service along with their families. The more, the merrier!

You will select a Zone in which to deliver and will be assigned a route of about 15 homes to deliver to within that Zone. Including travel time to your delivery area and the deliveries themselves (all the homes will be in close proximity to one another), you can expect your volunteer service to take 3 hours total.

You will select a Zone from our map on the registration page. You will be assigned a route of about 15 homes to deliver to within that Zone.

No. We may only deliver food that is purchased and provided by Interfaith Ministries’ Meals on Wheels Program. In addition, your visit is such a gift to our seniors – nothing more than what we will send with you and your presence is needed to make a big IMpact.

Our seniors must be home to receive these items. If a representative answers the door at the home to receive the items for them, it is okay to leave the items with this person.

If no one is in the home, we ask that you bring the undelivered food and supplies back to your pick-up site, along with your route sheet. Interfaith Ministries will deliver it to them another day.

A detailed training will be provided as Event Day approaches.

You do not have to fundraise to participate. But, more than ever, homebound seniors need your help. Which is why we are asking you to help us raise $40,000 to provide emergency storm meals to seniors in need. For every $16 you give, IM’s Meals on Wheels can provide a senior with a box of 5 shelf stable meals, water and supplies.

A fundraising team is a great way to maximize your fundraising! By using the fundraising team tool, you and your team can work together to raise even more funds to help provide emergency storm meals to seniors. Teams are a great way to propel your toward your fundraising goal and help even more seniors this season.
