Matching Gifts

Did you know that many companies will match charitable donations made by their employees? When you make a donation your company will make a donation to the charity in the same amount or 'match' your gift. To participate, stop by your human resources office for a matching gifts form and send that completed form to Interfaith Ministries or complete your company's online matching gifts donation page.

 

Matching Volunteer Hours

Your volunteer hours could be matched with real dollar! Many companies are matching their employees community volunteer hours with financial donations. Please check with your human resources department to see if your company has a matching volunteer hours program.

 

Standards

Interfaith Ministries upholds the Association of Fundraising Professionals' (AFP) Code of Ethics and Association of Fundraising Professionals' Donor Bill of Rights. We also provide the spanish versions of the Code of Ethics and Donor Bill of Rights.

 

Tax deductions

Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston is an IRS 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. Your donation is tax deductible. You will receive a tax receipt by email as well as by mail. Recurring donations will receive a receipt by mail once per year.
