Neighbors2Neighbors.org- Offers hospitality services to survivors of Hurricane Katrina who have chosen to make Houston their long-term or temporary home. Click here for additional information.

Black America Web.com Relief Fund. Take an inventory of your members who are hosting Louisiana evacuees. Download this form to apply for financial assistance for the host family (the church must apply on behalf of the members).

Clergy and lay leaders interested in working with Katrina survivors can view counseling training by clicking here. This training was originally conducted by Interfaith Ministries for the faith community at South Main Baptist Church on Saturday, September 10, 2005.

The Houston Food Bank needs volunteers, please alert your congregation to assist the Food Bank sort the wave of new supplies they have received. Visit their site; Houston Food Bank for more information.
